CALL FOR ENTRIES! >>> A BOOK OF POSTCARDS!

Agathe Jacquillat and Tomi Vollauschek from London-based design studio FL@33 are currently compiling and designing an exciting new book of postcards to be published later this year by Laurence King Publishing. The book will showcase the best international postcards and postcard-related projects created and produced in the year 2000 or more recently.

Submissions are now welcome and regardless of the reason for creation we would like to see anything that could be described as exciting, innovative, conceptual, promotional, experimental, decorative, witty and/or humerous.

The book will feature the very best examples from around the world on 192 full-colour pages. It will come in an intriguing packaging containing 20 specially designed postcards by selected international designers, illustrators, photographers and artists. The book will also introduce the individuals and/or studios behind all featured postcard creations.

Anyone?!

haha.. it was yesterday i watched Oprah Winfrey Show. The first show was all about givin’ strangers a big hug! I was attracted to this guy named Juan Mann. Na uh not because he is handsome ( did i say that?! hahaha), its beacuse of his sign board : “FREE HUGS” . He’s givin’ everyone free hugs. I think this Oprah show was done a very long time ago. In 2006? hehehe..

How it all started:

I’d been living in London when my world turned upside down and I’d had to come home. By the time my plane landed back in Sydney, all I had left was a carry on bag full of clothes and a world of troubles. No one to welcome me back, no place to call home. I was a tourist in my hometown.

Based on this, i draw this below:

Just finish drawing it. ( yup, in the office). I don’t know where did i got so much time doing this! hahaha Shhh.. don’t tell anyone about this ok.. Only me and you. haha

Another drawing, this one with colors. Since I’m not that good in coloring, just showin’ it off here. heheh. This is using Faber Castell watercolor pencils. heheq..
