    . learning illustrator CS3 .

    Aiyaya..

    I’m not feeling well.

Mean while.. i practice my illustrator skills. The last time i did was the Momiji Doll contest. As a beginner, it pretty difficult for me. Urgh. But never give up.

*note: click on the image to see the full view

I don’t merely follow the outlines when i did it in the illustrator. i just do it. playing around.

*note: click on the image to see the full view. (its not gonna be nice.. *teehee*)

And i turn them into my own photoshop brushes. Yipee!

and this is one of the example of my brushes i used. (*note: this is just for fun)

    ——————————–

Today: start to get back with my painting again. need more M&M chocs. more 3 in 1 HOT MILO. and. more sleep. Zzz.

they’re nice pupu! i bet they must be so much nicer if u really do it. play2 saja pun nampak cantik sudah. hehe.

u know, i’m so jealous of people having CS3 and illustrator. i like digital artwork too but both my office computer and laptop is primitive in terms of their RAM. My RAM is not up to the requirements. my hubby’s laptop is okay, but when he got time to lend it to me? even at home he’s flying planes with simulator.

i must work hard, so that i could earn enough to get my own illustrator software. but first need to get new laptop or desktop!

      hi pu…
ever you try mouse tablet to draw some sketch or illustration? please try it if you have a chance. But, mouse tablet too expensive maybe. hahaha…

saya lebih familiar menggunakan macromedia freehand atau coreldraw. kalo illustrator rada berat sepertinya

mangosteenskin: You should have one darling. I bet you goin’ to enjoy using them. Work work hard!! :D Ajaaahh!!

antown: hi antown :) I did use mouse tablet for this illustration. hehaha. I am still not use to it. My hand got tired holding the mouse tablet. aigaga.

i have macromedia freehand in my laptop.(i think.. haha) haven’t try it yet. maybe i will.

Love the vector art work pupu.

Though the finished work looks subtle, i still think it is great. Marvelous.
It takes time especially when you do tracing, but once done, you can do wonders, like change colours, distort and sort of creative things.

kudos.. tra cha cha tra cha cha

An illustrator you are… interesting style you have. I especially like your black and white line drawing and your fairy characters. I used to do illustration back in art school, but I’m more into book structures nowadays and the odd painting when the mood hits. Proud and envious of you at the same time ;-) Love to see how your style will evolve in the future. Wonder if I should start picking up my pencils and pens again…

I wish i have the time to bind my own handmade paper book. :D I guess you have the answer with you whther you should pick ur pen and pencils again. I think you should. i was thinking if you could make one class just for your bok structures session. If.. hehe

    .landscape painting?.

    After work.

    At home.

    Goin through my previous artworks.

I found my first landscape painting using watercolor  on a cheap drawing paper.

I remember Gareth ( he interviewed me. he’s from UWIC. unfortunately, my scholarship rejected by the government scholarship bleeee :p) he likes this painting. it shows that I’m into illustration.

i really like the background very much. That time i just keep watercoloring. i didn’t care whether the color is complement to other colors and i did not question myself on what i was doing. it feels like the whole world vanished around me and I’m the only one there. in my own world.

Looks like i’m painting this for a story book. maybe. one day.

Do you have your first painting with you? Share with me.

i like the soft colors. looks like the type of illustration in fairy tale books i used to read in primary school. this must be the way to one of the castle. we just need to pass the woods. hehe.

berapa lama proses pengerjaan lukisan ini? 3hour? 4hour?
watercolor technique is more difficult than oil painting.

Antown: Sorry ya Antown.. this wordpress thinks your comment is a spam. haha. Yg ini.. mm.. it doesn’t take long. 2-3 hours. Because i don’t take it seriously. haha. but i like how it turns out though. Oh really oil painting is easier to take control is it? What i know oil painting dry a bit long than watercolor. I haven’t try using oil painting. i want to try.

I like it though your sketches. Really nice.

.completed painting of Jagu and 8 Dwarfs.

Yeah. its messy. I don’t know how to organise my things. Its everywhere. here and there. hiding here and there.

*note: you can click on the picture to see the full view

    nearly completed. adding the details.

over- concentrate with the painting. haha. ugly. when i’m serious. haha.

*note: click on the image to see the details.

    Its finally completed. :D
Jagu is the elephant. The 8 dwarfs are his friends. They were all on a trip to Neverending Happy Land.

    Mission Accomplished… *trut tut tut*

    ——————————-

i have more and more to paint. to learn and to create.

    the energy is there.

hi pupu! I’m impressed coz eventhough u say u’re so busy sometimes, but u still manage to make big sized drawings. Most of my artworks are just slightly bigger than A4. And now reduced to atc sized. haha.

I like ur style and choice of colors in ur drawings. Jagu and 8 dwafts is no exceptions!

I like the way you watercolor your ATC .. it looks like you are drawing on a big sized drawing paper. *teehee* but dear, tak kisah lerr if we paint on a small sized art paper what we know is we love to paint. :D
